Recipe of Paneer Masala

 

–: Recipe for PANEER MASALA :–           

Ingredients :-

  • Paneer: 200gm cubed
  • Onions: 2 piece
  • Tomato: 2 (pureed it)
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilies: 1-2, slit (optional)
  • Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves): 1 tablespoon, crushed
  • Heavy Cream: 2 tbsp (optional, for creaminess)
  • Salt: TO TASTE
  • Oil or Ghee: 2 tablespoon
  • Fresh Coriander: for garnishing.
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Paneer:

        If using store-bought paneer, soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes for a softer texture, then drain and set aside.

        2. Prepare the Masala:

  •  Heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter,
  •  Add chopped onions and sauté until golden-brown,
  •  Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies (if using), cook until the raw smell disappears,
  • Add Spices, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder and Coriander Powder. Mix well and sauté for a minute,
  • Add the Tomato Puree and cook until the oil starts separating from the masala.

     3. Mix Paneer with Masala:

  • Then add Paneer in Masala with salt (as per you test) and stir gently to coat the Paneer with the Masala.
  • After finish the dish add Garam Masala and crushed Kasuri Methi & Stir gently.
  • If you prefer a richer gravy add Cream at this stage and mix.

     4. Garnish and Serve:

         Garnish with fresh Coriander Leaves and Serve it hot with naan, roti, or rice.
