–: Recipe for PANEER MASALA :–
Ingredients :-
- Paneer: 200gm cubed
- Onions: 2 piece
- Tomato: 2 (pureed it)
- Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
- Green Chilies: 1-2, slit (optional)
- Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
- Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves): 1 tablespoon, crushed
- Heavy Cream: 2 tbsp (optional, for creaminess)
- Salt: TO TASTE
- Oil or Ghee: 2 tablespoon
- Fresh Coriander: for garnishing.
Instructions:
- Prepare the Paneer:
If using store-bought paneer, soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes for a softer texture, then drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Masala:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter,
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden-brown,
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies (if using), cook until the raw smell disappears,
- Add Spices, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder and Coriander Powder. Mix well and sauté for a minute,
- Add the Tomato Puree and cook until the oil starts separating from the masala.
3. Mix Paneer with Masala:
- Then add Paneer in Masala with salt (as per you test) and stir gently to coat the Paneer with the Masala.
- After finish the dish add Garam Masala and crushed Kasuri Methi & Stir gently.
- If you prefer a richer gravy add Cream at this stage and mix.
4. Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh Coriander Leaves and Serve it hot with naan, roti, or rice.
